Tim Atkin's Rating: 92. This is the second vintage of The Chocolate Block. It has an exotic nose of peach, orange peel, red and black fruit, fynbos, earth and spice plus a little vanilla. It’s a substantial, even chunky wine with good depth of fruit, moderate acidity and softish tannins. It is a lot like a 'South African Chateauneuf-du-Pape'.
