79% Syrah, 11% Grenache, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cinsault and 1% Viognier and aged in older wood.
Tim Atkin's Rating: 92. It has an exotic nose of peach, orange peel, red and black fruit, fynbos, earth and spice plus a little vanilla. It’s a substantial, even chunky wine with good depth of fruit, moderate acidity and softish tannins. It is a lot like a 'South African Chateauneuf-du-Pape'.
Suggested Food Pairing: red meat dishes, particularly rich stews
