Styled as a food focussed wine, displaying flavors of pineapple and white pear, with the slightest hint of toasted hazelnut. A distinctively refreshing wine with a creamy texture and a savoury accent within its broad, yet harmonious, palate. Best with creamy soft cheese, fish pate, flavoured fish dishes, chicken or sushi.

I have not found many good SA Chardonnays, but I had heard Bouchard Finlayson made nice wines. This was just the right amount of oak and quite complex on the palette, with a long refreshing finish.
