RATINGS
Vivino: 4.1 | Tim Atkin: 96 points | Platter's: 4.5 stars
TASTING NOTES
31% Grenache, 30% Syrah, 19% Carignan, 10% Cinsault, 10% Pinotage
This vintage of Elpidios is the first that is more predominantly Grenache based. The nose is aromatic with notes of dried herbs, olive, liqourice and earth to go with red plums, raspberries and black cherries. It is lean, subtle and refined with bright acidity, fine tannins. This wine is drinking well now, and under optimal cellar conditions will drink beautifully until 2027.
