Porseleinberg

Owned by the Boekenhoutskloof group of the Chocolate Block fame, Porseleinberg  is a cult brand from the Swartland region. Winemaker Callie Louw focuses on producing wines that are fresh, elegant and ageworthy. At his organically-run farm, he picks his grapes early and relies on the grapes natural yeasts for fermentation. The proof of his amazing craft shows in the ratings of his wine, having achieved just the third 100-point wine ever awarded to a South African wine by Tim Atkin MW. Porseleinberg's 2018 Syrah earned 100 points from Tim Atkin MW in his 2020 South Africa Report.
