Creation Wines
Born into pioneering winemaking families from two different continents, Creation Wines' co-owners Jean-Claude and Carolyn Martin were well-placed to make a success of developing a winery in a remote corner of Walker Bay wine region.
Established in 2002, the 40 hectares of land on Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge had never been planted to vines before but with the courage of their conviction and belief in the vast potential of the terroir, the inventive couple have transformed it into a trendsetting wine farm producing award-winning wines.
Today, Creation Wines have some of the highest rated Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs in Hemel-en-Aarde, and they have been voted among the top 10 Vineyards of the World in 2021.
The name ‘Creation’ is a tribute to the favourable winegrowing conditions on our farm. It also refers to the fact that we were the very first to establish virus-free vineyards on the farm.
