TASTING NOTES
100% Syrah
Rosebud is the little darling of Gabrielskloof's Estate Range. It is Rosè wine, made with Syrah from Gabriëlskloof vines. Bright red fruits like pomegranate and wild strawberry lead on the nose, before more savoury elements of tomato leaf and flint. The palate is fresh and textured, with a berries-and-cream texture along with sour fig and unripe plums that bring tang and freshness. Bright, crunchy and refreshing but not without layers of complexity that will keep calling you back for more. Best enjoyed between 8˚C and 10˚C, within a year or two of vintage and perfect as an accompaniment to a variety of lighter dishes.
