RATINGS
Vivino: 4.0 | Tim Atkin: 93 points
100% Cinsault
A bottling from a single 25-year-old bush vine vineyard site of Cinsault grown on decomposed granite soils in the Swartland. This wine expresses the purity of Cinsault fruit with fine grained tannins on the finish.
This wine has a vibrant cherry red colour. The nose is perfumed with beautiful rose petal, strawberry and cherry aromas. There are underlying notes of dried herbs. Flavours of fresh strawberries, ripe cherries and rose water are evident on the palate. The mid-palate is textured with hints of dried herbs leading to a dry finish with fine tannins.
Delicious on its own, served slightly chilled or will pair beautifully with charcuterie.
