TASTING NOTES
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Petit Verdot
Dark, ruby red colour, dense and complex, this outstanding wine has a rich bouquet of ripe cherries, blackcurrants and blackberries, underpinned by fine zest, Havana tobacco, and roast aromas. Powerful and athletic on the palate, full-bodied and intense, it has ripe, concentrated fruit, freshness and succulence. This classic and complex wine reminiscent of Pomerol and Châteauneuf, is drinking well now, and under optimal cellaring conditions, will age gracefully up to 2035.
The Echo of G was crafted by legendary winemaker Denis Dubourdieu together with 4G Wines' South African cellar master. Second wine to the ‘First Growth of the Cape’, this wine enjoys the same uncompromising quality as "G.", and it is ultimately born during blending. Read more about 4G Wines.
