100% Shiraz
This opulent full-bodied Shiraz shows the beautiful extraction of the 2018 vintage having a deep red colour. The aroma presents intense fruit which is accompanied by a mosaic of wood components. These flavours are pronounced on the palate, along with a hint of sweet spice. The fine grained, velvety tannins are very well-integrated to form an exquisite layered aftertaste. Under optimal cellar conditions, this wine is expected to develop and age nicely up to 40 years from vintage.
Hailed the most luxurious 100% Shiraz ever produced in South Africa. The Black Lion, a wine crafted from the ancient soils of Africa, cultivated from specially selected vines and nurtured by special hand manicuring and individual attention. It is truly an international wine, positioned to stand proud amongst its peers. A mere 1392 individually numbered bottles were produced.
