About the Experience

This is not a wine pairing dinner.

It is an opportunity to experience the wines of Mullineux and Leeu Passant through the person behind them.

Chris Mullineux, co-owner of both wineries, will guide the evening personally — sharing his journey, the philosophy behind the wines, and the story of Swartland, one of South Africa’s most exciting wine regions.

Throughout the evening, guests will:

🍷 Experience a curated selection of wines from Mullineux and Leeu Passant — from expressive Swartland terroirs to refined, heritage-driven Cape wines

🧠 Hear directly from Chris — his journey, winemaking philosophy, and the evolution of South African fine wine

🌍 Understand the Swartland movement — a group of winemakers often referred to as the Swartland Rebels, who redefined the region

🤝 Engage in an intimate setting — designed for conversation, learning and shared discovery
