One of South Africa’s most respected independent winemakers, Catherine Marshall was among the first women to establish her own label in the late 1990s.
After studying oenology at Stellenbosch University and gaining international experience in France and the United States, she founded Catherine Marshall Wines in 1996.
Her philosophy has always been simple: precision, elegance, and minimal intervention in the cellar.
Today her wines — particularly Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc — are celebrated for their purity, balance, and restraint.

After years working with some of the Cape’s most respected wine estates, Melissa Genevieve Nelsen followed her passion for Méthode Cap Classique — South Africa’s answer to Champagne.
In 2008 she founded Genevieve MCC, a boutique label dedicated entirely to traditional bottle-fermented sparkling wines.
Working with carefully selected Chardonnay vineyards, Melissa focuses on long lees ageing and meticulous craftsmanship to produce MCCs defined by elegance and complexity.
Today Genevieve is widely admired as one of South Africa’s most respected specialist sparkling wine producers.

Jolandie Fouché represents the new generation of independent South African winemakers.
After gaining experience at leading estates across the Cape and internationally, she founded Wolf & Woman to craft wines that reflect the wild beauty and diversity of the region’s vineyards.
Working with carefully selected old vines and coastal sites, Jolandie focuses on minimal intervention and natural balance, allowing each vineyard to express its character with clarity and energy.
Her wines have quickly gained recognition for their vibrancy, purity, and modern Cape identity.
