TASTING NOTES
Creative Block 5 is part of Spier's most awarded range of blends made with 2, 3 or 5 varietals from specially selected vineyard blocks. This Bordeaux-style blend's 2018 vintage received a double-gold award at South Africa's longest running wine and brandy competition, Veritas.
This wine has blackberry and currant flavours, and is supported by cedar, dark chocolate and fennel hints that flow into a vibrant palate. It is an elegant, full-bodied red wine that has a smooth palate showing blackcurrant fruit. It has great balance, dense tannins and a long, slightly smoky finish.
